Please note, this information only applies to you if you started your course before 1st August 2017 (or 1st August 2018 for Dental Hygiene and Dental Therapy students).Most home (UK) and EU students studying on an NHS-funded course will have their tuition fees paid by the NHS.
Home students can apply for help with living costs in the form of a non means-tested grant of £1,000 and a means-tested bursary of up to £4,491 from the NHS. There are also additional allowances for students with dependants or disabilities. You can also apply for a reduced rate of maintenance loan (£2,324 for non-final year students living away from home, £1,811 for final year students) through Student Finance England.
