Schedule of Ceremonies

We expect to be able to publish the approved schedule in November or December 2017. However, all summer graduation ceremonies will take place in the week beginning Monday 16 July 2018.

Graduation Pop-up Shops

Come and see us between 12 and 1 pm at:

  • Richmond Building Atrium on Monday 6 or Monday 20 November
  • Portland Building Atrium on Tuesday 7 or Tuesday 21 November
  • Eldon Building Main Foyer on Tuesday 14 or Wednesday 22 November
  • Park Building Foyer on Friday 10 or Thursday 23 November

Student Speakers Sessions 

There will be four sessions for students to come along and find out more about being a student speaker, these will all be held in the Annexe in Nuffield Building and will take place:

  •          Thursday 16 November 11am
  •          Thursday 16 November 3pm
  •          Thursday 30 November 11am
  •          Thursday 30 November 3pm

You do not need to book, just turn up and find out what it’s all about! 

New for 2018 an email address purely for student speaker questions:


The majority of our communications will be to your university email account. Please keep an eye out for emails from and take action when required. We will only email you with important information.

Booking to Attend Graduation Ceremonies


  1. Students are required to book themselves onto their ceremony when we ask them to do so 
  2. At the same time that students book they are able to book *two guaranteed free guest tickets 
  3. The deadline for this phase of booking will be confirmed in the email
  4. Once the deadline has been reached the Graduation Team will then assess the remaining tickets which will be made available to purchase
  5. We will continue to make tickets available to purchase until the ceremonies are full or the final booking deadline (Friday 15 June 2018) is reached, whichever is earlier 

* A student’s ticket is not taken from the guest allocation
