How do I access University applications on my laptop?
First you will need to install the CloudPaging Player. When you first visit MyApps it will ask you whether you have the player installed or not. If you don’t have it already, click ‘I need it’ and the player will start downloading. If you click ‘I have it’ then the prompt won’t appear again. If you click ‘I have it’ by accident or if the prompt doesn’t appear, simply search for ‘CloudPaging Player’ in the MyApps search box and the download will be available there.
Internet Explorer will give you the best experience with MyApps, so this is the recommended browser.
When the MyApps portal loads, for the first time, your device will require validation. Your browser will then download a file with a .tok extension. The .tok file will need to be associated with the CloudPaging Player in order for the applications to load seamlessly in the future.
The software centre ‘MyApps’ will now be accessible, and a MyApps icon will appear on your desktop. The recommended browser is Internet Explorer. To access, use your University Username and Password.

What if my device fails validation?
In most cases a refresh of the page will resolve this issue. If you are still experiencing difficulties, please visit an IT Helper or bring your device to the IT Help Centre, located next to the Student’s Union.
