This article will provide you with advice on how to pay your University halls of residences fees. Please note this is University halls only, please see this article if you are in a third party provider.
Halls of residences fees are due at the beginning of each term, unless a Direct Debit or automatic credit/debit card instruction has been submitted. If this is the case a payment plan will be sent to your University email account or to the payer. No discount is offered for accommodation fee settlement.
Paying by credit/ debit card or Paypal
This is the most efficient way to pay, click here to go through to WebPay. Chose the one off card payment option for immediate payment.
Paying by Direct Debit Instruction or Recurring Card Payment Instruction
If you have submitted an instalment instruction you may select an 8 x monthly instalment plan from October to May.
To set up a payment plan, please read the instructions below:
Paying by bank transfer
Please pay by the University of Portsmouth bank details available below.
Please ensure that your name and student ID number (if known) is quoted or entered on your payment. If you are paying by bank transfer, please also complete a Student Remittance Advice form and send this to firstname.lastname@example.org.
EU and international students also have the option of the payment methods below.
You also have the option to pay in your own currency on the Western Union website.
You also have the option to use UnionPay. Western Union Business Solutions have partnered with China UnionPay to enable students of the University to make payment using their UnionPay card and account details.
