Prezi course profile 

Prezi is a web based application that allows you to present ideas on a canvas rather than traditional slides. The 'getting started' session will cover using the editing tools, frames & pictures, inserting videos and images. 

Prezi is one of many third party presentation tools and not provided by the University, however, there is a free version which anyone can sign up to. Full details on registering for an account are at If you sign up with your University email address go for the free 'education' account which will give additional privacy features to the basic free account.

Google Slides

Google Drive Part 2 course profile
The Google Slides presentation application has very similar functionality to Microsoft PowerPoint, with the added advantages of being web based, with sharing and collaboration provided by Google Apps. The Google Drive Part 2 session has a section covering the  Slides application.
For general functionality the PowerPoint sessions are recommended.

For any Microsoft Office courses you will be asked to complete the Training Needs Analysis Form  to ensure the content of the course is appropriate to meet your needs.
