Target Audience:

For anyone interested in using Google forms as a way to gather information and analyse the results.

 

Outline:

The session will look at how Google Forms can be used, creating a new form, adding different question types, setting up the responses and notifications, publishing and distributing the form, view responses and using the charts/graphs summaries.

 

After this session there will be the option to request consultancy, where you can work on any specific forms you may want to set up, with the help of a trainer.

Course Aims:

To provide users with the skills and understanding to create and use forms

Pre-requisites

Anyone with a University Google Apps account for staff wishing to begin using Google Forms

Course Objectives

By the end of the course the user should be:

  • Familiar with the different question types
  • Familiar with setting up a confirmation page message
  • Familiar with the methods of distributing a form
  • Able to view the responses to a form
  • Aware of the analysis capabilities on responses
  • Familiar with the settings and notification options
