EDM Super Users

Course Duration:

1.5 hours

Course Aims:

To become conversant with the functionality of a Super User to manage electronic documents and records using Objective.

Course Pre-requisites

Participants must have attended the EDM04 Essential Course and are a dedicated Super User for their work/business area.

Course Objectives

By the end of the course the user should be:

  1. Competent in identifying the different Object Types within EDM, and are aware of the varying levels of access within the generic folder structure.
  2. Able to create new Files and File Divider Tabs within their business area of the folder structure.
  3. Able to understand users and user groups, and the restrictions of managing these.
  4. Competent in creating/managing business restricted groups and assigning permission at both folder and file level.
  5. Competent in viewing existing workflows, and able to run and monitor new workflows.
  6. Aware of the deletion, closure and disposal of electronic documents.
