This article contains information about University cards for staff.

Obtaining a University Staff Card for the first time

Your department will generate a request for a staff card for you as a part of the New Starters administration process. When your card is ready to be produced you will be invited to have your photograph taken and your card will be printed. This process will be activated once a HR Staff Record has been created.

Replacing your University Staff Card

If your card has been lost, stolen, damaged, is faulty, or your department changes you can request a replacement via

Library: Your University card provides access to library services, allowing you to borrow and renew loans. You can find more details about library facilities at http://www.port.ac.uk/library/

Access Control: You can use your University card to gain access to University buildings associated to your Department or role.

University Bus: On production of your University card, you are entitled to ride on the University Bus Service. For more information on the bus route and the times it runs see the timetable.
