This article will inform you about the Park & Ride scheme which runs in Portsmouth.

The Portsmouth Park & Ride scheme is a joint venture between Portsmouth City Council and First Bus.  It runs two services from the Park & Ride terminal situated just outside the city.

PR1 - will run the usual route from the terminal down to the Hard Interchange.

PR2 - this new route (from Monday 10th September) will accommodate the university area of the city. Running every half hour from the M275 Park & Ride terminal, the PR2 bus will travel to Commercial Road (stand B) and the civic offices (stand M on Isambard Brunel Road) before stopping on Winston Churchill Avenue and Cambridge Road for university buildings.

The PR2 service will run from 7am until 8pm Monday to Friday only. The last bus from Cambridge Road will be at 7.44pm.

Portsmouth Park & Ride costs an average of £2 per day, based upon Commuterpass 50 (for up to five people travelling together).
