This article will inform you about the University of Portsmouth’s lost and found, and what to do if you lose anything.

If you lose cash, driving licence, passport, student card or any other item on campus, visit one of the Lost Property Points listed below and seek attention of a member of staff.

In case you find an item that may be owned by a student, hand it in to a member of staff at one of the University buildings.

Found items will be held at the local property points for a maximum period of 4 weeks. If the owner does not collect the item within 4 weeks, the item will be sent to the Central Lost Property section at Floor 5, Mercantile Building, Hampshire Terrace, Portsmouth, PO1 2EG.

Items may then only be claimed from the Central Lost Property (Estates reception, Unit 1, St. Andrew’s Court) point during normal working hours:

  • Monday – Thursday: 08:30 – 17:15

  • Friday: 08:30 – 16:15.
