Student Officers are given some summer training before their term in these roles begin.


How many hours a week on average does a Student Officer work for?

A Student Officer will work for 2-4 hours a week on average.  


Do you get paid to be a Student Officer?

No you do not get paid, the role of a Student Officer is voluntary.


Can anyone be a Student Officer?

With the exception of the Environment and Good Governance Officers, which any student can run for, you must self-identify with these roles in order to run for them (for example, you must self-identify as a woman to run for Women’s Officer).
