This article provides details about registering late.
Your course start date is included in your offer letter. Late registration is not permitted as it will be detrimental to your studies. However, if you are not able to register on time due to extenuating circumstances, please see the guidance below.
If you are not going to be able to register on or before the start date of your course, you will need to get approval for late registration from the Department of Student and Academic Administration. Please email lateregistration@port.ac.uk to request approval. In your email, please include the following:
- Your applicant/student ID number
- Your course title
- The date you expect to register
- Your reasons for requesting late registration
Your request will then be considered, after which you will receive an email advising whether or not your request has been granted, and if it hasn't, why not.
