This article explains to students what to do if they are having trouble accessing an electronic resource.
If a resource you expect to have access to does not seem to be working, firstly please check the known problems page to see if the service is down for some reason. If you can't find an explanation, contact us at email@example.com or call us on +44 (0)23 928 43228, and name the resource you are trying to use and give details of any error messages. We will then work to fix it.
For anything not listed, the first point of call should be staff at the Information Desk on the Ground floor of the library, which is open during the week from 9 am -9 pm and 10 am-4 pm at weekends (firstname.lastname@example.org or Tel: 023 9284 3228). We also offer an out-of-hours telephone service when the Information desk is closed.
You can also use our online chat service. You can chat to a librarian 24/7. We provide a locally staffed service between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday and offer an out-of-hours service evenings, weekends and bank holidays. If you're outside the UK, check the local time. Please note: Your online chat session may be monitored and stored for training and quality purposes.
