This article will provide you with information on the various options available to pay your library fines.

Pay in Person

You can pay in person by credit/debit card for your outstanding library charges on the self-service kiosks. We accept a wide range of debit/credit cards, although unfortunately we cannot accept Amex payments on the self-service kiosks.

  • Go to Account and select “Pay charges” – you can pay in full or make a part-payment
  • Remember to renew or return your overdue loans first, so that you can see all your charges.

You can also pay in person by cash, credit/debit card (including Amex) or cheque accompanied by a cheque card at the Loans Help Desk

Pay by Post

You can post a cheque, made payable to "University of Portsmouth Library" to
University Library
Cambridge Road
Portsmouth
PO1 2ST

Please include a return address, so we can forward your receipt to you. For any queries email issuedesk@port.ac.uk

Pay Online

You can pay by credit/debit card via the university's online store. You will need to set up an account for the online store the first time you use it.
