The International Office organises a wide range of social events and coach trips throughout the year and we hope you can join us at one of our events.

Harry Potter Studio Tour, Warner Brothers Studio

Saturday 28 January 2017 - £40 

Warner Bros. Studio Tour London provides an amazing opportunity to explore the magic of the Harry Potter films. This unique walking tour takes you behind-the-scenes and showcases a huge array of beautiful sets, costumes and props. It also reveals some closely guarded secrets, including facts about the special effects and animatronics. And of course, you’ll be able to try a famous butter beer.

Oxford

Saturday 18 February 2017 - £15

For over 800 years Oxford has been a home to royalty and scholars, and nowadays it is a bustling cosmopolitan city, full of history and culture. Visit this famous historic English town and see Oxford Castle, visit some of Oxford's colleges or take a boat ride down the river. Visit Oxford Natural History Museum, the Botanical Gardens or Museum of the History of Science and visit the local markets and boutiques.

Longleat Safari and Adventure Park

Saturday 25 March 2017 - £35

Get up close and personal with lions, elephants, giraffes and many more on this drive-through safari and meet the monkeys as you walk through Monkey Temple. Tickets also include entry to the Elizabethan Longleat House, where you can explore over 450 years of history and hear ghostly tales of the mysterious Grey Lady. Get lost in Longleat Hedge Maze before feeding the sea lions. Longleat is a truly unforgettable experience.

Weekend Trip to Cornwall: Eden Project and Newquay

Friday 02 to Saturday 04 June 2017 - £85

Day 1 - You will visit the Eden Project - a dramatic global garden housed in tropical biomes filled with jungles and waterfalls. Experience the sights, smells and scale of the rainforests in the Rainforest Biome - the world's largest greenhouse. Walk amongst the orange and lemon trees, olive groves and gnarled vines of the Mediterranean Biome, and in the Outdoor Garden see the flowers flourishing under the Cornish sun. Then it’s back on the coach and we’ll drive you to Newquay where you’ll spend the night

Day 2 –You will have free time to explore the beautiful Cornish seaside town of Newquay, one of the UK’s top ten beach destinations.

Day 3 - Your last day in Newquay to spend relaxing on the beach or maybe trying some surfing before the coach leaves for Portsmouth at 4pm.

The Chinese Society hosts an annual show to celebrate their Spring Festival through traditional dance, songs and other performances. More details soon.

Festival of Cultures

Our annual event is the most popular date in the international diary. This exhibition style event celebrates the diversity we have on campus with an evening of food, music, dance, costume and much more.

Windsor- Saturday 08 October 2016 - £15 

Home to Windsor Castle, the largest and oldest inhabited castle in the world, and royal residence of the Queen of England! Watch the guards marching through the streets , have lunch in a traditional British pub or quaint tea room and relax in the beautiful parks and gardens after exploring the cobbled streets filled with boutiques.

London Musical, The Lion King - Wednesday 02 November 2016 - £35

Join us in London’s famous West End for one of the most successful stage shows of all time! Based on Disney’s ‘The Lion King’ film, this spectacular theatrical performance is filled with glorious colour, stunning effects and enchanting music. The powerful and moving story follows young Simba the lion cub on his epic journey to become King of the Pridelands.

Birmingham Christmas Market - Saturday 26 November 2016 - £15

This is the largest authentic German market outside Germany and Austria and one of the biggest in the UK. The market offers over 180 different stalls, selling everything from jewellery, gifts, decorations, handmade crafts and food. Truly get into the Christmas spirit with homemade mulled wine or hot chocolate, Christmas carols and get your skates on for a spin around the outdoor ice rink.

Portsmouth Football Club Football Match and Stadium Tour - Saturday 12 November 2016 - £15

Watch Portsmouth Football Club play at Fratton Park Stadium at this match against Mansfield. Included in the ticket price is an exclusive full tour of the stadium.
