This article has information on the sports coaching courses available at the University.

The Coach Education programme offers a range of nationally recognised coaching qualifications, workshops and training for students, staff, and members of the community.

The programme aims to develop sports knowledge and skills, and is an opportunity for coaches and officials to enhance their employability, as well as helping them to access Continuing Professional Development (CPD) courses.

Our coaching courses are delivered by qualified tutors from Sports Coach UK, and National Governing Bodies such as Basketball England, the Rugby Football Union (RFU) and the Lawn Tennis Association, with organisations such as Hampshire FA delivering referee qualifications in order for us to deploy trained officials.
