We're keen to increase physical activity among all our students. Membership differs per club with prices ranging from £60 to £180, including training and match fees, transport and equipment and more socials than you can shake your hockey stick at. Naturally, if you're a gym member, you'll receive a discount on your club membership. Play with friends, train in the gym, compete against other universities, support your fitness goals alongside your sport to help you succeed.

Other clubs and societies are available, for more information on these head to the Student's Union website.

Other sports opportunities:

Play sessions: We have over 15 PLAY sports sessions which any student can attend - whether you’re in a sports club or not. Sports range from Basketball to Ultimate Frisbee and offer a social way to play sport without the cometitive element to training. PLAY sessions are free with any Core, Core+ or Ultimate membership, and if you’re not a member sessions are only £5.

Campus sport:

We offer leagues and tournaments for you to play sport with your friends against other students. Campus Sport is your opportunity to get involved in sport socially. Play with flatmates, housemates or course mates, get your team and get involved. Join over 500 University of Portsmouth students already playing in our Campus Football Leagues. Head to our Campus Sport pages to find out more.
