This article explains what will be happening at Chaplaincy during freshers’ week.
There will be a welcome activity in Chaplaincy during freshers week. Students are invited to come to the Chaplaincy suite with their flatmates and course friends to paint a mug to take away with them. The mugs and the paints are all provided. If you do not wish to paint a mug but just simply want to relax, there are board games available. Why not make the most of the free tea and coffee? You can even help yourself to a slice of cake.
Will the welcome activity run throughout freshers week?
Yes, the welcome activity will last for the duration of freshers week, while mug stocks (and cakes) last, so please feel free to drop in at any point.
Do I have to sign up to Chaplaincy or can I just turn-up?
You do not have to sign up to Chaplaincy. The service will be advertised through leaflets, the Student Union and of course, at Freshers Fayre. The Chaplains will be walking around the Freshers Fayre and so you are encouraged to approach them should you wish to find out more about what they do and what they offer.
