The University of Portsmouth Choir

A recreation of an 1812 performance of Handel’s Messiah, which featured diva Angelica Catalani who had recently slipped across the Chanel in disguise to escape the clutches of Napoleon.

Music Unplugged

In addition to these more formal performances, the Music Departments hosts Music Unplugged, an acoustic music event, twice each year. Music Unplugged gives students the opportunity to gain performance experience in a supportive and friendly environment.
