National Student Money Week runs from 18th-22nd February.  This is a campaign run each year with the National Association of Student Money Advisors, where universities work together to bring free money advice to students across the UK.

During National Student Money Week, the Student Finance Centre will be at the University Library, Students Union and at the Eldon foyer giving out their famous piggy banks and running some exciting competitions where you can win a shopping basket full of food, £100 Amazon Voucher and an Amazon Fire. Finally we will be there to talk all things money and raise awareness of what we can do to help you and help you take control of your money.

In Portsmouth, we will run events as follows:-

  • Monday 18th February - 12noon to 3pm: at the University Library foyer
  • Wednesday 20th February - 12noon to 3pm: at the Students Union
  • Friday 22nd February - 12noon to 3pm: at the Eldon Building foyer

This year's theme for National Student Money Week is ‘Breaking Bad Money Habits’, so come along if you’re looking to learn how to drop the take-out habit, or spend less on a night out (without making it boring!).  We'll give you 52 great money-saving hacks, plus free advice from our experts.
